There is no way I could ever express how thankful I am or how much it has meant to me what you all have done for Eben over the years. I believe you kept him as healthy, alert and happy as he possibly could be right up to his last day. This was a gift to him and to me that can never even be adequately described.
Thank-you from the bottom of my heart…
Oh, one more thing. When I took him to have cataract surgery a few months ago, the doctors couldn’t BELIEVE he was on no medications for any health problems. They literally said, “he is the only 90-some year old we’ve ever heard of who wasn’t on at least ONE chronic medication!” I just smiled.
